Nothing that has
ever been great in the world was without passion. As
it's in all great searches and is necessary to all
creative endeavors. In my twenties I decided to become a
photographer because it offered a means of creative
thought and action. There were times when it was not my
main source of income but it has always been a hobby
that over time has evolved into my enthusiasm for life
as is what everyone's jobs should give them. I didn’t
rationalize this, I just felt it intuitively and
followed my intuition, which I have never regretted.
Personally, I have always preferred inspiration to
information because it gives one a sense of freedom even
when your feeling tied up in life's responsibilities.
To me photography is an art of
observation. It's about finding something interesting in
an ordinary place. I've found that it has little to do
with the things you see and everything to do with the
way you see them. It's like capturing humanity at an
instance to treasure long after the memories fade. In a
way it's like a marriage cause your saying that you will
always be there to witness and share in the moments that
count. What's a life or marriage unless someone is there
to witness it and nothing goes unnoticed.
